Inner healing is a ministry that seeks to heal inner emotional pain through the power of the Holy Spirit. Emotional pain may have been caused by negative life experiences that we may have brought upon ourselves or that were inflicted upon us when we deviated from the right decisions, resulting in hurtful soul wounds. Some Christians may have a difficult time trusting God if they endured physical or emotional abuse from their earthly fathers or mothers. Psalm 38:5 says, “…my wounds are foul and festering…”
Signs of a Wounded Soul
Soul wounds need inner healing by God’s power to heal them. According to Jeremiah 30:17, “I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds, says the Lord.” No matter what the enemy has done, God desires to restore and heal His people. A list of some characteristics of someone with emotional wounds:
Crying uncontrollably.

Memory loss (especially from childhood)

Addiction to alcohol, drugs, food, cutting themselves, etc. to mask the inner pain.

Unable to love their spouse, children, or themselves.

Depression with fits of rage.

Rejection or abandonment issues.
Deliverance
When a person walks according to the Word of God and lives his/her life according to Deuteronomy 28:2, “And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God.” All these blessings will flow to your children’s children.
Sources of Curses
Why aren’t people living this way? This is due to curses that may come into our lives! Curses come into our lives in two ways. First, something we may have done that could open the door to the demonic through sins, such as adultery, addiction, forgiveness, or the occult, and many more. Secondly, curses can come in through an opened door by one or many of our ancestors who sinned, which we call a “Generational curse.” Lamentations 5:7: Our fathers sinned and are no more, but we bear their iniquities.
Jesus Brings Freedom
The reason Jesus came in John 10:10, “The thief comes only to steal and to kill and to destroy; I (Jesus) have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.”
Deuteronomy 28 and Generational Curses
People can be set free from anything! People living with depression and anxiety can now live life in peace!
People can be free from suicidal thoughts and have the excitement to live life the way God intended it to be!
